SA driver caught at twice the speed limit

A man has been arrested for driving at more than twice the speed limit in Adelaide.

A police helicopter discovered the 32-year-old driving at more than 165km per hour in an 80km zone in Adelaide's northern suburbs early on Thursday morning.

The man, who had not had a licence for a decade and who was wanted on three outstanding warrants, will appear in Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Thursday.
