SA crime fighting goes Back To The Future

A gang of fictional teens have been charged with crimes against fashion after a hoverboard chase in honour of Back To The Future day.

Four teens - dressed in upcycled Tupperware containers, wrist-guards and breast-plates - crashed through a window while chasing a teenage boy on a hoverboard, South Australian police pranksters say.

In the 1985 film Back to The Future 2 - starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd - teenager Marty McFly and boffin Doc Brown travel to October 21, 2015 using a DeLorean converted into a time machine.

When they arrive, Doc and Marty find shoelaces that tie themselves and hoverboards, which, sadly, we're still waiting for.
