SA calls for renewed mental health funding
AAP
More than 60 mental health beds in South Australia will be at risk unless the Commonwealth renews $20 million in funding deals, the state government says.
SA Mental Health Minister Leesa Vlahos is calling for two National Partnership Agreements on mental health and public hospital services, set to expire in June, to be extended for another five years.
"People living with mental illness are some of the most vulnerable people in our communities, including in our regional areas," she said on Wednesday.
