Details on fatal SA bushfire

DETAILS OF THE BUSHFIRE NORTH OF ADELAIDE:

* Two people confirmed dead with fears held for a third

* An unconfirmed number of injuries including some firefighters

* A number of homes, sheds and other buildings destroyed including a piggery

* More than 85,000 hectares of cropping land burnt

* The fire perimeter is 211km with the fire front about 40km

* 340 firefighters and 70 fire units are in the fire zone with more to come from interstate on Thursday.

* The cause of the blaze is unknown

* It travelled more than 50km in four hours fanned by strong winds

* Power cut to about 22,000 properties with 10,000 not expected to have services restored until Thursday
