Police find alleged SA sex offender's body

South Australian police have found the body of a missing youth worker who was due to stand trial on a child sex offence.

Scott Walker Taylor, 39, who had pleaded not guilty to the persistent sexual exploitation of a child, did not turn up for his South Australian District Court trial on Monday.

The trial judge issued a warrant for his arrest.

Police carried out a search of Kyeema Conservation Park on Wednesday after the man's vehicle was found in a car park area at Kyeema.

They said later the body had been found at the park and the circumstances of his death were not suspicious.
