Reveller king-hit outside SA nightspot

A man has been knocked unconscious outside an Adelaide nightspot.

The young man was knocked out and received facial injuries when he was punched in the head before 3am on Saturday.

Police have described the incident as a "coward's punch" and are trying to find the man's attacker, who left before they arrived.

The assaulted man was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
