Record passengers through Adelaide Airport

More passengers than ever came through Adelaide Airport last year, largely thanks to a lift in international visitors.
Total passengers increased by 2.5 per cent in 2016 and the airport cracked the eight million passenger mark for the first time, reaching the milestone on New Year's Eve.
The biggest boost came from overseas travellers, with an extra 50,000 coming through the airport on the back of new Qatar Airways and China Southern routes.
