Rebels bikie on drug charges in Adelaide

A Rebels bikie has been charged with drug offences after ice was found in his car and home.

The 24-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday when his car was stopped at Croydon in Adelaide.

Officers say they found cash and methamphetamine in the vehicle and more drugs when they searched his home.

More than 100 grams of ice was seized along with equipment used to manufacture drugs.

The man was charged with trafficking and manufacturing a controlled drug and possessing a prescription drug without a prescription.

He was refused police bail and was expected to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday.

"Police will continue to target those who choose to traffic methamphetamine, a staple activity of outlaw motorcycle gangs," detective chief inspector Kym Hand said.
