Pyne upbeat ahead of Arrium meeting
AAP
Federal Industry Minister Christopher Pyne will look towards "the next chapter" for the troubled steel maker Arrium when he meets with the company's administrators on Friday.
The afternoon meeting will discuss the ways forward for the company which has debts of more than $2 billion.
"What I'm working towards is what's the next chapter for Arrium going to be, rather than the closing down of the business," Mr Pyne told AAP ahead of the meeting.

The minister said he had also spoken with other state treasurers about what assistance they might provide with a view to helping the company trade out of its difficulties.
