Probe into 'unexplained' woman's death in Adelaide

Mystery surrounds the sudden death of a woman at a house in Adelaide.

The woman, aged in her 40s, died at the property on Henley Beach Road, Mile End about noon today despite police and paramedics rushing to the scene.

Investigators have been on the scene for much of the afternoon, and are yet to reveal the circumstances of the death.

A post-mortem will soon be conducted.

A report will be prepared for the coroner as South Australian police investigate whether the death is suspicious, self-inflicted or the result of natural causes.
