Police set up Adelaide crime scene

A search is continuing in the Adelaide parklands after the discovery of what might be human remains.

Police have blocked off an area south-west of the Hackney Bridge and are searching piles of dirt and mulch.

They declared the area a crime scene after a report that remains had been found, a spokesman said.

There is no confirmation yet on whether the remains are human.

Images on Twitter show a wide search is underway, including areas of grass and bush, with State Emergency Service volunteers brought in to help.
