Passer-by rescues elderly woman from Adelaide unit fire

A passer-by has rescued an elderly woman from a burning unit in Adelaide.
A Metropolitan Fire Service spokeswoman said it was believed cooking left on the stove sparked the kitchen fire in the Glenelg East unit.
The woman was treated by paramedics at the scene.

The fire caused damage estimated at $15,000.
