NT teens arrested over car stealing spree

Eight teenagers have been arrested over an alleged Darwin crime spree that involved stealing five cars.

Some of the group were spotted driving erratically around Darwin and Palmerston in a stolen car on Tuesday and police say the group stole at least another four cars over the course of the afternoon and night.

Those arrested include four boys and three girls aged 12 to 17 and an 18-year-old woman.

They are yet to be charged.
