Neighbour saves man from SA house blaze

A man has escaped his burning home in South Australia after a neighbour who spotted the house was alight woke him up.
The Mount Gambier home went up in flames about 2.30am on Monday, prompting the neighbour to call emergency services and alert the resident.
The Metropolitan Fire Service says the blaze, which is thought to have been an accident, took an hour to extinguish and has caused about $350,000 in damage.
