Nearly 200 SA Optus jobs to go: union
AAP
Nearly 200 Optus call centres workers in Adelaide's northern suburbs will lose their jobs in the coming weeks, their union says.
Employees at the Mawson Lakes centre were told about the job losses on Tuesday after Optus said it would slash 480 positions Australia-wide, according to the CWU.
"The northern suburbs have been hit again and it's not good news," Communication Workers Union SA and NT branch president Graham Lorrain told AAP on Wednesday.
