Murder charge over Adelaide stabbing

Charges against an Adelaide man arrested over a stabbing last week have been upgraded to murder.

The 41-year-old was detained at the scene of the incident at a block of units at Gilberton after a 38-year-old woman was found with a serious stab wound to the upper leg.

She died in hospital two days later and police say the man will now face charges of murder and aggravated causing harm when he appears in Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday.
