Murder charge in SA wheelie bin body case

A man has been arrested and charged with murder following the discovery of a body in a wheelie bin south of Adelaide.

The body of a 32-year-old man was found in the bin at the front of an Aldinga Beach property on Saturday morning.

A 47-year-old Aldinga Beach man was arrested late on Saturday and charged with murder.

Police say the arrested man and the victim were known to each other and had been drinking together in the early hours of New Year's Day when the murder occurred.

The arrested man is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
