More international SA tourists than ever

South Australia drew more visitors from overseas over the past year than ever before, the state government says.

Australian International Visitor Survey data shows SA drew 430,000 overseas visitors in the year leading up to September, up from 392,000 the year before.

Tourism Minister Leon Bignell says SA is "kicking massive tourism goals", with the past year's visitors spending $970 million in the state.
