Drugs lead to SA Mongols bikie arrest

A Mongols bikie will face court on Monday charged with drug trafficking after methamphetamine was discovered at an Adelaide hotel.

A 23-year-old Mongols member from Rostrevor has been charged with drug trafficking after police found 750 grams of methamphetamine while searching the hotel room just after 5pm on Sunday.

The man was refused bail and will appear at the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.

A 30-year-old Parkside woman has also been charged with drug trafficking and has been bailed to face the Adelaide Magistrates Court in December.

"This is another example of the illegal and dangerous activities members of outlaw motorcycle gangs engage in," SA Police Detective Chief Inspector Scott Fitzgerald said.
