Man threatened with pole in Adelaide

A man has threatened an Adelaide greengrocer with a metal pole before stealing cash in a burglary.

Police say a man of Asian appearance demanded a staff member's wallet and phone at the Pooraka shop on Thursday afternoon, but when the victim refused he stole cash from the register.

The man ran out of the shop to where a second man was waiting with a getaway car.
