Man's death opens SA road toll for 2016

South Australia has had its first road fatality for 2016 with the death of a man in a single-vehicle crash on Kangaroo Island.

The car rollover claimed the life of a 40-year-old Kingscote man, police said.

His death takes South Australia's holiday road toll to three, and the national holiday toll to 30.
