Man rescued from house fire

A man has been rescued from a deliberately lit house fire in Adelaide which also destroyed three cars.

The fire was sparked about 3am on Thursday at Mile End and took about an hour to quell.

The blaze destroyed the cars and damaged the home, with a man who was rescued from the building treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation.

Another fire was deliberately nearby, causing damage to a brush fence.
