Man pursued by SA police twice in a month

A South Australian man will face court on weapons and driving offences after he was chased by police twice in a month.

The 48-year-old was pursued on Tuesday night when he refused to pull over, police say, and was arrested a short time later when he drove into a dead-end street.

He was charged with carrying an offensive weapon and resisting arrest.

The Salisbury man was also charged over a police chase at Willaston on 14 June and for allegedly driving away from a petrol station without paying two days later.

He'll appear in the Elizabeth Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
