Man killed in SA quad bike crash

A man has died after a quad bike crash at Wompinie in South Australia's northeast.

Police were called to a private road on Wompinie Station near Cockburn on Sunday night after a 37-year-old man crashed while riding the bike.

Police are preparing a report for the coroner but the man's death won't be counted on the state's road toll as it occurred on private property.
