Man jailed for pushing partner near train

A man who was placed on a bond after trying to push his girlfriend in front of a moving train in Adelaide has now been jailed after breaching the conditions of his release.

Lucas Gary Narkle, 21, was given a three-year good behaviour bond after pleading guilty to endangering the life of the then 14-year-old in October 2017.

In the South Australian District Court on Friday, Judge Liesl Chapman said Narkle had breached the bond by failing drug tests and failing to turn up for community service work.

She jailed him for four months, giving him credit for the six months he spent in custody before his original sentence.
