Man flung from car in road rage incident

A man has been flung to the road from the bonnet of a car in a shocking road rage incident being investigated by Adelaide police.

The video shows the man being thrown onto the road and sliding on his back before the driver of the car veers around him and speeds off.

The incident occurred at the corner of Fullarton and Greenhill roads during peak hour traffic on Wednesday morning.

The video does not show what sparked the altercation.

The man flung from the car was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with a minor head injury.

A police spokeswoman says officers are speaking with both parties and other investigations are continuing.

Police have also urged any witnesses to come forward.
