Man charged over SA murder in court

A man charged over the murder of South Australian woman Jody Meyers has appeared in court with prosecutors saying more than 50 witness statements have been handed over to the defence.

Neil Archer, 29, has previously indicated he will contest the allegations relating to the discovery of his partner's body, buried under a concrete slab on a property east of Adelaide in September.

He will return to the Adelaide Magistrates Court on February 23 for more declarations to be filed.

Ms Meyers, 20, had been missing for a month with court documents alleging Archer killed her between August 25 and 28.
