Man charged over 3 Adelaide grass fires

A man has been charged over three grass fires in an Adelaide suburb during a day of dangerous conditions.
Police and fire crews were called to Sauerbiers Road in Seaford Meadows about 6pm on Thursday and located three grass fires close to each other. One was small and went out but the second burned about 200 square metres and the third, about a hectare of grass and shrubs.
A 30-year-old homeless man has been charged with three counts of lighting or maintaining a bushfire. He will appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday.
