Man charged over injured woman in SA

A man has been charged after police found a woman on the road with head injuries in Adelaide.

The man, 26, was arrested in Woodville at 11am on Sunday after police received reports a woman with head injuries was on the road.

She was taken to Royal Adelaide Hospital with non life-threatening injuries and police are investigating how she sustained the injuries.

The Croydon Park man, who is known to the woman, has been charged with driving disqualified and drug driving.
