Man, two women arrested over counterfeit notes in SA

A man and two women have been arrested in relation to counterfeit $50 notes in South Australia.
Their arrests are part of an extensive police operation into the alleged buying and selling of counterfeit $50 notes in SA's metropolitan and regional areas during March and April.

A 38-year-old man from Adelaide was arrested on Wednesday for producing, uttering and possessing counterfeit $50 notes.
His arrest follows the arrest of a 17-year-old girl for deception on April 21 and the arrest of an 18-year-old woman from Salisbury Downs for 11 counts of deception on April 18.
The man was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday.
