Learner driver crashes into Adelaide home

A drunk learner driver has crashed his car into the lounge room of a home in Adelaide.

Emergency services were called to a house on Kelham St in Hillcrest at about 6.30pm on Sunday after the 20-year-old man drove into the house.

He later recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.120.

The driver, his female passenger and the occupants of the house escaped unharmed, but he has lost his licence for six months and will face court at a later date.
