Later school hours proposed in SA

Senior school students should start classes as late as 11am to improve academic results, a parent body supporting public education in South Australia says.
The SA Association of State School Organisations has called for a trial of later start times for older teenagers, saying it would lead to fewer students skipping classes and more effective learning.
Director David Knuckey says teenagers find it difficult to rise early and international research shows that starting later reduces absenteeism and improves results.
