Lamborghini driver charged over fatal hit

A Lamborghini driver has been charged after fatally hitting a teen girl and seriously injuring another young pedestrian as he lost control of the luxury vehicle in Adelaide.

The 37-year-old driver lost control on Morphett Road, mounted the kerb, hit the two 15-year-old girls on the footpath and crashed into a restaurant on Saturday before 10pm.

One of the girls died and the other girl was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver has been charged with cause death by dangerous driving and also cause injury by dangerous driving.

He will face Adelaide Magistrates Court on July 31.
