Indon festival on hold in South Australia

An Indonesian festival in South Australia has been postponed as Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran await execution in Bali.

Organisers of the annual INDOfest have put a number of events on hold, including a trade forum and a family day.

Australian Indonesian Association of South Australia spokesman Chris Majewski says it would be insensitive to proceed with the events.

"The association's role is to promote good relations between the people of Indonesia and Australia. We don't involve ourselves at all in politics," he told ABC radio.

Mr Majewski said the events would be held later in the year.
