House gutted by fire in Adelaide’s northern suburbs

An Adelaide home has been almost completely destroyed by fire at Munno Para West this afternoon.

The fire is believed to have begun in the carport just after midday and quickly spread to the house, with some neighbours reporting hearing a bang about the same time.

The damage has been estimated at about $350,000 to $400,000.

No one was home at the time, and two dogs on the property were rescued and are now being looked after by a neighbour.
