Heat wave continues over SA

Total fire bans have been declared for six of South Australia's 15 weather districts, the Country Fire Service has declared.

Severe fire danger is forecast on Saturday in the Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Mount Lofty Ranges, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island and Lower South East where the bans are in place.

Very hazardous fire weather conditions are predicted where fire bans have been declared.

Very hot weather has been forecast across the state, with Adelaide expected to reach 40 degrees on Saturday and Sunday.
