Gunner and Weatherill meet in Adelaide

New Northern Territory Chief Minister Michael Gunner has met South Australian Premier Jay Weatherill in Adelaide for talks on how to grow closer economic and cultural ties.

The pair have also agreed to meet again in Alice Springs later this year for discussions across a range of areas including infrastructure, arts, tourism and family violence prevention.'

"Tourism is one area in particular where I think we can deliver a great mutual benefit as both of our regions have much to offer in the Australian experience," Mr Weatherill said.

Mr Gunner said it was critical for his government to have a constructive working relationship with SA.
