Gunman critical after bizarre SA incident

A gunman threatened staff at a pharmacy on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia before taking prescription medication and collapsing.
The 43-year-old man from Wallaroo entered the Port Road pharmacy at New Town on Friday afternoon armed with a gun, demanded medication and then took it before he collapsed.
The man was taken to Wallaroo Hospital in a critical condition where he remains under police guard.

A firearm was seized but no pharmacy staff were injured.
