Girl, 12, found in stranger's house

A 12-year-old girl has been arrested after entering an Adelaide home through an unlocked window in the middle of the night.

People in the Mile End home awoke to find the girl inside the house but she ran off when confronted just after 3am on Tuesday.

A girl from Elizabeth South was arrested a few streets away.

She has been charged with aggravated criminal trespass and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court.
