Four killed in SA road crash

Four people have died in a three-vehicle crash in South Australia.

Police say a ute and a truck collided just before noon, followed by a four-wheel-drive at a busy intersection in Hatherleigh.

Four people in the 4WD died at the scene.

Three other people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash brings the state's road toll to 92 compared with 91 at the same time last year.
