Five drugged drivers nabbed on school run

Five motorists have been caught with drugs in their system while doing the school run in South Australia.

Those detected during a one-day blitz on Thursday include a 25-year-old man in the state's north who tested positive while taking his child to kindergarten.

A 31-year-old man was also stopped in Adelaide's western suburbs and tested positive with his child still in the car.

Superintendent Anthony Fioravanti says it's hard to understand while drivers continue to put themselves and particularly their children at risk by driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
