Fishers asked to help with cod study

Recreational fishers are being asked to help gather data on cod stocks in the River Murray.

South Australian Agriculture Minister Leon Bignell says the state government wants to increase fish stocks but needs to know the current numbers.

A series of fishing events will be held on the river from May when data from all Murray cod caught and released will be recorded.
