First payment in SA's $230m Techport sale

The federal government will hand over $20 million in the first instalment for the transfer of the South Australian Techport shipbuilding facility on Thursday.
The Federal and SA governments reached an agreement on the transfer and sale of Techport in May 2017 for $230 million.
The SA government originally opened the site in 2010 to support the state's push for more defence shipbuilding contracts.
