Fire in SA's Mid North downgraded

A bushfire in South Australia's Mid North region has been downgraded.

The Country Fire Service (CFS) on Monday afternoon said the fire at Bethel, between Kapunda and Tarlee, posed a reduced threat.

The CFS said people in the area should check their properties for embers, particularly in roof spaces and gutters.

The fire was previously burning out of control in grass.
