AAP
A bushfire on Hindmarsh Island, south of Adelaide, is under control.
A watch and act message was issued for the grass fire on Wednesday afternoon as it threatened people and property.
It only burnt through a hectare but the CFS issued the alert because of wind gusts up to 60km/h.

Fire bans were earlier declared in the Flinders, Mount Lofty Ranges and the Lower South East amid unseasonably warm weather.
The temperature in Adelaide topped 27 degrees in the early afternoon and was forecast to reach 29 degrees.
