Fire bans in six SA districts

The Country Fire Service has declared total fire bans for six of South Australia's 15 weather districts on Saturday.

Severe fire danger is forecast in the Eastern Eyre Peninsula, Lower Eyre Peninsula, Mount Lofty Ranges,Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island and Lower South Est.

Where total fire bans have been declared, very hazardous fire weather conditions are predicted.

Very hot weather has been forecast across the state, with Adelaide expected to reach 40C on Saturday and Sunday.
