Fake notes passed at Adelaide show

Two fake $50 notes have been passed at the Royal Adelaide Show, prompting calls from police for stall holders to be wary.

The notes were used at a showbag stand and looked reasonably similar to genuine notes, police say.

They say people handling cash should take a little extra time to inspect notes, especially when large denominations are being used for small purchases.
