Extradition over Victorian hit-and-run

Victoria Police are expected to apply for the extradition of a man arrested in South Australia over a double hit-and-run.

The man, 38, is alleged to have hit two cyclists in Sale, in the Gippsland region on March 23 before speeding away from the scene.

The cyclists suffered serious injuries.

He was arrested in Ceduna on the SA west coast on Friday.

He is due to appear in the Ceduna Magistrates Court on Monday.
