Ex-cyclone Stan to hit SA's far west

Ex-tropical cyclone Stan is expected to bring heavy rain and localised flooding to South Australia's far west.

Up to 60mm is forecast for coastal and inland regions including Cook, Nullabor and Fowlers Bay on Monday, the Bureau of Meteorology says.

Stan was downgraded to a tropical low on Sunday afternoon after crossing the West Australian coast as a category two system with wind gusts of more than 100km/h.
