Electric blanket sparks Adelaide blaze

An electric blanket left on all day has sparked a house fire in Adelaide.

The in Seacombe Gardens residents weren't home on Thursday afternoon when the fire started, but they face a $50,000 damage bill.

Crews in breathing apparatuses used a high-pressure line through the window to quickly extinguish the fire before it could spread.
